FIRST STEP IS GETTING INTERNET WORKING
- Click Start
- Go to Settings
- Select Connections
- Select Connections from the the sub-menus
- Select Manage Existing Connections on the sub-menus
- Enter TNM APN i.e. Name for Connection: tnm
Access Point Name (APN) internet or internet2
- Click Finish (DO NOT PUT ANY USER NAMES OR PASSWORDS HERE)
- Exit all Windows/Menus and Sub-Menus
SECOND STEP IS ENABLING DATA EXCHANGE
- Click Start
- Go to Settings
- Select Connections
- Select Communications Manager
- Switch ON Phone, Data Connection and Microsoft Direct Push (this one in case of customers with Exchange servers)
- Exit this Menus and all sub-menus
THIRD STEP IS CREATING EMAIL ACCOUNTS

- Click Start
- Select Messaging
- Click on Set-Up Email
- Take note of spellings and letter casesĀ e.g. PpLmH
Configurations for Exchange Clients
- Click Start
- Go to Programs
- Select ActiveSync
- Click on Menu
- Select Configure Server on the Sub Menus
- Key-in the server address
- Enter User name and password (same details that are used on desktops and laptops for Outlook mail)
- Check/tick the boxes for Contacts, Calendar, Email and Tasks
- Click Finish
