How To Share Airtime

• Type *113*Me2U pin code*amount of airtime*recipient's number# then Press OK
eg *113*0000*2*088800000# - means 2 units has been transferred or
*113*0000*200*088800000# - means 200 units has been transferred

• Confirm the transaction. To confirm, press YES/OK then type 1. To cancel press YES/OK then type 2.

The default Me2U pin code is 0000. This pin code is necessary to secure your airtime from unauthorised transfer. In order to safeguard against unauthorised transfer of airtime you are advised to change your pin code. The pin code must have four (4) digits. 

To change your Me2U pin code

Type *106*old pin*new pin*new pin# then send 
 

.: CALL HOLD AND CALL WAITING

This facility enables a customer to put one call on hold and make another call. It enables you to receive a call or swap between calls while on another call.
No subscription or monthly fees are attached.

There are moments when you want to communicate with someone yet you do not have credit. tnm’s Please Call Me service provide a polite way to ask someone to call you. You do not need to have airtime to send a ‘Please Call Me’ message. Its free and easy!

How to send a Please Call Me message

Simply enter *707* followed by your friend’s mobile number then # then press send/OK on your mobile phone e.g. (*707*0888000000#OK)

You will instantly receive a response confirming that your call back message has been submitted. Your friend will receive an sms which will show your mobile number with the message ‘Please call me’ on 08000000. At this point your friend will respond if he or she has airtime.

.: SMS AGRICULTURAL MARKETING INFORMATION

This service allows you to access information on the latest agricultural commodity prices and extension messages.The service is provided in partnership with Initiative for Development and Equity in African Agriculture (IDEAA) and Malawi Commodity Exchange (MACE). This service allows you to place an offer to sell or bid to buy a commodity.

.: INTERNATIONAL DIRECT DIALING (IDD)

International Direct Dialing Facility will allow you to make international calls. It is available to all customers by default and on request to all Postpaid customers.

How to make an International Call

Dial the international access code i.e. 00 or +, then country code, then area code, and then the destination number. Ignore the zero if the number starts with a zero.
eg.

• Dial 00 or + (The international Access Code)
• Dial 27 (The country code for South Africa)
• Dial 11 (The area code for Johanesburg)
• Dial the destination telephone number

+27 11 destination number or 00 27 11 destination number

.: DIRECT RECHARGE

This service is exclusive to prepaid subscribers. It enables you to remotely recharge  a friend’s mobile phone.

How to do it

*112*phone number*recharge pin# then press OK.

.: FAX AND DATA

This service alows you to access data services such as e-mail and fax massages. You can print out the fax on the fax machine of your choice.

This service allows you to send an email from your mobile phone by SMS.

How does it work?

• Go to Message
• Type in the email address to which you want to send the message followed by #.
• Write your message
     e.g. customercare@tnm.co.mw # type your message
• Finally, send your SMS to 444.

CALLING LINE IDENTIFICATION PRESENTATION (CLIP)

Allows the customer to see the caller’s number. It is available on prepaid by default and costs MK150.00 on postpaid service.

There are no monthly rentals on prepaid but costs MK100.00 per month on postpaid service.

CALLING LINE IDENTIFICATION RESTRICTION (CLIR)

This facility hides the caller’s number on the called number and is available on both prepaid and postpaid service.

Registration charge on prepaid service is MK1, 000.00 and MK500.00 on postpaid. There are no monthly rentals on prepaid service but costs MK200.00 per month on postpaid. To register for the service, call Customer Care or visit any of our Shops.

How to activate

• Go to settings
• Select call settings
• Select send my caller identity
• Choose No or Off
