BIG DOGS FIGHT IN THE TNM SUPER LEAGUE

It was a battle of the giants in the TNM super-league on Saturday 1 August 2009 at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre when Bullets faced their longtime rival MTL Wanderers.

Football fans flocked into the TNM branded stadium in multitude as the time approached 2:30 pm, the official kick-off time. By the end of the game, MTL Wanderers had collected 3 points by thrashing the Bullets a goal to nil.

TNM is the proud sponsor the Super League, the biggest football league in Malawi, pumping in a whooping 180 million kwacha to support three consecutive seasons

 “We give thanks to TNM for bringing us the super-league. Now it’s time for the players to do their best and bring soccer to life,” said one of the fans after the game at Kamuzu Stadium.
