TNM LAUNCHES WINDOWS MOBILE

TNM, the pioneer mobile network service provider in Malawi, on the 4th and 5th November 2009 launched Microsoft Windows Mobile service in Blantyre and Lilongwe respectively.
At the functions which took place at Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre and Capital Hotel in Lilongwe, TNM presented to some of its corporate customers , Microsoft Windows Mobile, a business solution that provides a virtual office to the user.
Developed by Microsoft, Microsoft Windows Mobile Technology works on devices that have Microsoft Windows built in them and synchronizes user’s PC and the device itself, allowing the user to operate their office while on the move.
Addressing the invited guests, TNM Projects Manager for Value Added Service Louis Chipofya said that with Windows Mobile users can do business anywhere at any time. He said this includes getting corporate e-mails and accessing information on servers direct from a mobile device.
Besides corporate e-mails, Windows Mobile devices allow for setting up of as many as 7 email accounts on the same device e.g. Yahoo mail, Gmail, Hotmail, etc. it also has Instant Messaging (IM) with Yahoo Messenger and MSN Chat, Face book and Twitter built in. Microsoft Windows Mobile devices also have a rich Multimedia experience and wireless capabilities.
