Winner of last month's K500,000 first prize in the TNM Mtolo20 Tikolore Promotion says she plans to use part of the windfall in financing her wedding preparations. Annie Malunga, flanked by her fiancee Chipiliio Palasa as well as her mother, spell out her plans 0n 13 June 2011 during a prize presentation ceremony held at TNM offices in Biantyre. "All this has certainly happened by God's design; otherwise I can't believe that my entry was drawn out of over a million entries," said a beaming Malunga, who works as a secretary at Dowa District Hospital. She added : "what is even more rewarding is that I only subscribed to the Mtolo20 bundle to enjoy low talk-time rates but, now I would be able to organise my wedding as well as set up extra income generating activities using the K500,000 that I've won. " Also present at the prize awards ceremony was Blantyre -based Pearson Gobede who was presented with a K250.000 Game Stores shopping voucher he won earlier in the promotion. Gobede, whose dream is to buy iron roofing sheets so he can construct his own house, said he was over the moon following his luck which was the first after entering several promotions and competitions in the past. On her part, TNM Media Specialist Mbumba Mlia reiterated the companie's commitment to changing its subscribers' lives through customer oriented promotions. "It is pleasing that last month's winner, who is a young lady, has had her financial worries especially regarding her planned weddings relieved. This just goes to snow that TNM is a network that transforms its customers' wellbeing from time to time," Mlia said. Meanwhile, another Dowa resident Lignes Wotchi won the weekly top prize of a brand new Samsung Laptop computer following the draw in the 10th week of the promotion.
