TNM donates to QECH

Children at Moyo House, a ward for malnourished children at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre, received various items, including blankets, sugar, Likuni Phala and soap from TNM.

TNM sponsorship and public relations manager Wilma Chalulu said the company donated the items as part of its corporate social responsibility.

"These people form part of the population and they contribute positively to the economy. When they come to the hospital, they cannot contribute to the economy. We also have special interest in maternal and early childhood, so one of the items we brought is Likuni Phala, which is nutritious for the children," said Chalulu.

QECH principal nursing officer Loveness Nyirenda thanked TNM for the gesture.
