What is ‘my Zone’ ?

‘My Zone’ enables prepaid customers to call at reduced rates when making calls from a particular  location.

The service is aimed at encouraging people to make calls at a reduced rate while in their Zone. A total of 5 Zones have been created as follows:

Zone 1 - Blantyre City
Zone 2 - Lilongwe City
Zone 3 - Mzuzu City
Zone 4 - Zomba City
Zone 5 - All districts other than the four cities above

'My zone' rates

If you are in Zone 1, 2, 3 and 4, you will enjoy a discount of 8%. If you are in Zone 5, you will receive a discount of 17%

How to Register:

• Dial 133
• Follow the voice instructions
• To modify your zone, dial 3

By dialing 3, your current location will automatically be recognised as your zone.

However, if you are registered for one zone and you are in a different zone, all calls that you will make will be charged at the current standard rate.

You may change your zone at any time but modification will be charged at 50 units.
