International Roaming allows you to make and receive calls in a foreign country using your  number. Tariffs and fees for International Roaming Access are set using the following international guidelines:

• All outgoing calls, are charged according to the  prevalent International roaming rates within that country.

• Whilst roaming, calls received from your home country will be charged at the prevalent international tariff rates within your home country. For instance, if you received a call from Malawi on your mobile whilst in South Africa, you would be charged for a direct international call. The caller however, will be charged at a normal domestic rate.

• This method of charging is in line with international roaming regulations and applies to all cell phone operators worldwide.

International Roaming is available to postpaid users after a deposit of MK48,000.

To have this service, a customer MUST have International Direct Dialing (IDD).
